I'll be away a few days

Tonight everything in my world fell apart. My beloved granny had a stroke today and tonight we received the news that she had thrown a clot and that caused the stroke, and tonight they flew her to UK (University of Kentucky medical Center)where they planned to treat her and remove two additonal clots they found, one in her brain an done in her artery, but they didn't get the chance too. The clot broke free and the doctor says she is brain dead and my grandfather is taking her off life support. The last day I spent with her or spoke to her was July 4th, and I regret every day that I missed, she was only 76.

I love you granny.

An odd observation..or rather my thoughts

You know...I have gotten no less than 7 emails tonight through my groups from designers complaining about not getting comments...and it made me wonder why everyone gets so worked up about em. I know, I've been guilty of snagging on the fly and not leaving a comment, but I try to on EVERY designer who demands it. I've always wondered why it is so important that people get comments, haven't you? I mean people who come and download my stuff are comment enough for me, and sure I like to read the comments left to me, but I certainly don't have time with two kids, a house, household chores, outdoor work, doctors appointments, and family to read them all. And I certainly don't get bent out of shape and threaten to quit designing just because I don't have enough comments. I'm probably going to catch ten kinds of hell from people over my views on this, but what can I do...it is MY opinion, right? RIGHT. What are your thoughts? Do you think people downloading your stuff is good enough...or would you rather wade through tons of comments?? Personally, you all don't have to leave me anything, you'll notice I don't say please leave a comment when snagging.....if you like it enough to download, then YEA for me, lol But I'm gonna say it now...please leave a comment and let me know your thoughts on comments. lol

Did you know marshmallow washes out of your hair?

LMAO I figured I would be washing it a half dozen times, but it came out first time, lol Oh, where did I get marshmallow in my hair at?? We were making smores tonight...YES...In 95 degree heat by an open fire, lol How else is there to make em, lol Anywho, I leaned back and my hair wrapped around a stick, with melted mallow on it, lol and I have long hair anyway, so that made it worse. But it washed out...now my hair smells like coconuts!! HAHAHA oh I need sleep...fairy kits coming soon!!! Stay tuned! these will be brought to you courtesy of my daughter, Devin, who loves fairies!! I'm thinking of either naming a kit after her or letting her name them for me...stay tuned!!

Been busy!!

I'm sorry that I have been away! I'll get back on track tomorrow evening! Kids are finally on vacation and I've been busy getting my kits uploaded to a brand new store! Details to come soon!! On another note, stay tuned for two brand new fairy themed kits!!!!! Enjoy your weekend!!

Please do me a huge favor

Hi everyone, I have one small favor to ask of you. Please stop sending my direct 4shared links through the groups. In doing so you have contributed to my account exceeding its bandwidth which locks it down for awhile until traffic cools down and when that happens you cannot get your freebies and paying customers cannot download their kits. If peple keep sharing direct links instead of sending links to the blog post, then I will have to eaither stop doing freebies, or move them to a less reliable sharing site. As it is, I pay for my 4shared, and cannot purchase any more space. I actually have to new freebies to give to you all, but with the bandwidth on my account exceeded, I cannot do this until it lowers. I don't demand comments or thanks for what I do, I just ask you not to share direct links. Thank you.

OOHH Talk about DRAMA!

GRRR my new kit couldn't be more appropriate right now. I come to the blog to make sure my buttons are working for paypal and see all sorts of new comments...some idiot posting random comments and his posts are linked to a LOTTO SITE!!! SPAMMERS LEAVE! Sheesh...only an idiot could post random crap saying "informative post" or "whoever owns this blog needs to make more topics like this" Like the moron actually read anything...NOOOOO he spammed my blog with a post to his stupid lotto site under a dozen different names!!! Well HELLO!! You are deleted Mister Spammer, Berto, John, Wally or whatever yer name is!! Since you left half a dozen different names!!! You are the weakest link, GOOD-BYE lol

Peaches & Creme Behind Time

I'm sorry that the Peaches and Creme Kit hasn't been put up yet. I know I said they'd all be done this week, but we had a death in my family and I have been behind. Tonight I spent the evening with my dad and family because it was my dads brother who passed away, and my favorite uncle. He was only 64, but with Black Lung form the mines when he was younger and a life of hard living, things took their toll and he said he was ready to go, he was tired. Needless to say, it has caused some great reflection to me, because my dad is one of seven children and this makes the third brother he has lost, and I realized that all three that have passed, they all have kids my age, and I couldn't imagine what they are feeling. I can't imagine what it would be like to lose my dad, or my mom for that matter. I'm only 39, and my uncles wife is only 41, and she has been with him for 16 years, my cousins range in age from 23 to 40. It's a sobering thought how short life really is. Anyway, enough of my going on. I am finishing the Peaches kit tonight and will get it up by tomorrow I hope. I won't be attending the funeral tomorrow as services are at 2, and my kids will be in school and my dad said he understood. I do have some plans for some really cute kits though! I'll give you a hint to the next one, it's gonna be blue raspberry in color, lol you know, like those suckers kids like to eat? Yeah THAT color blue! lol
